Funeral Planning

When a death occurs in your family, contact the Parish Office by calling 651-459-4596. The first point of contact should be the funeral home; after connecting with the funeral home, your family will meet with the Pastor or Deacon to plan the Mass of Christian Burial.

For the sacrament of anointing of the sick, please contact the parish office.

Funeral Music Suggestions/Options.

2024 Funeral Pricing Guide

Church with Funeral Home: $300.00 (Monday through Friday)

*Church No Funeral Home: If you are not working with a funeral home, the fee for the church is $500.00.

*Funeral Assistant is required when not working with funeral home- $200.00.

 If additional Assistant is needed- $200.00.

Wakes: St. Rita's is not available for wakes.

Soloist: $175.00   Saturdays: $225.00

Accompanist: $175.00   Saturdays: $225.00

Luncheon: The Women's Council donation is $100.00 to setup, serve, and clean up after lunch. They will serve water and coffee. The family is responsible for providing the meal.

-During the Lenten season, all funerals held on Fridays must offer one meatless option.

Use of Seton Hall: $100.00 for Tuesday-Friday

*Please note: Seton Hall may not always be available due to prior commitments and the availability of volunteers to serve the meal.

A note to families: We know this is a difficult time and we will do our best to help facilitate a beautiful celebration of the life of your loved one. Feel free to call the Parish Office with any questions. To help things go smoothly, please be prepared to take care of all fees on the day of the service or beforehand. Checks can be dropped off in the Parish Office.
